Walk Like A Cow is an ongoing transatlantic musical bromance between American multi-instrumentalist and producer Mac Ritchey and Irish percussionist and composer Dave Boyd. A collaboration that not only brings together two uncommon instruments - oud and bodhrán - but also two recording studios with the vast array of sonic possibilities that modern technology offers.
With decades of experience in composing, recording and production for bands, and in theatre, film, television and dance between them Mac and Dave share a passion for integrating traditional instruments with electronics and cutting edge technology. Their musical curiosity and enthusiasms range from modal traditions of the Middle East, North Africa, and Celtic Europe to ambient electronica, progressive rock, funk, and blues.
